JA'NITCHI REF



As part of old tradition, the people on the Opebe Keys would often leave offerings to all the shrines of the spirits. Ghroc and Ja'nitchi are two of the many spirits who used to roam the land in the old days. The two tricksters loved playing pranks on the people and spent their time harassing them just to get a good laugh.

But old traditions fizzle out as new generations come. The people have slowly forgotten about the old spirits, who are now given scraps and trash in place of the wonderful gifts they have been given in days long past. All while the Master hosts the annual feast for the flavor gods...

Needless to say the two are just a bit bitter...



Name: Ghroc

Species: Spirit

Height: 7’11” (6'11" in human form)

Age: Several thousand years old

Personality:
Childlike and mischievous, a real trickster and troublemaker, this naughty spirit loves making a mess of things and scaring people for fun with his partner in crime, Ja’nitchi. Though not as smart as Ja’nitchi, he makes up for it with his sheer power. He enjoys lifting and hurling things much larger than himself to show off his immense strength. Being a spirit, he looks down on mortals and believes that they should worship the spirits. He also DESPISES being told what to do (unless it’s by his friend) and hates humiliation.

Though he nor Ja’nitchi have never had any culinary experience whatsoever, they do have a heightened sense of taste which allows them to pick out the absolute best flavors. He loves eating all kinds of foods (except spicy) and is particularly fond of meat and bones with the occasional fruits, and boy is he been starving for more!

Strengths:

  • Shapeshifting (but only with Ja'nitchi)

  • Super Strength!

  • Strong jaws and teeth

  • Acute sense of taste

  • Can Fly

Weaknesses:

  • Magic/energy/holy attacks

  • Not very smart

  • Cannot swim

  • Spicy foods (he stops everything he’s doing to scream and flail about while smoke comes out of his mouth)

  • No culinary knowledge

Extra bits: He and Ja’nitchi are both made completely of magic, thus making them immune to physical attacks. So don’t even try it bucko! (though they are still able to touch and be touched)
